Jungheinrich : Collective agreement for the Lüneburg

About this update from Jungheinrich Ag Pref
After more than 80 days of intense negotiations, IG Metall, the works council, and Jungheinrich AG have reached an agreement. The agreement was preceded by four days of intensive negotiations. On Friday, February 13, 2026, these talks resulted in the signing of socially acceptable agreements that take particular account of the interests of long-term employees. The agreement includes a reconciliation of interests, a social plan, and a social collective bargaining agreement. Among other things, the agreements provide for rules on severance payments and the establishment of a transfer company. This company is intended to help the affected employees find new career prospects in the primary labor market over the next two years through training, coaching, and job placement. With the signing of this agreement, the collective bargaining agreement has been provisionally concluded, subject to the approval of the members of IG Metall in a second ballot, and at the same time a long-standing conflict has been brought to an orderly conclusion. The conclusion of this collective agreement marks the end of an intense phase of dispute. Both sides have expressly committed to returning to cooperation. Employees will resume work on Monday at 9:00 a.m. Contact Dr. Benedikt Nufer Spokesman Phone +49 40 69483489 Get in touch Latest news 02/13/2026 Jungheinrich completes sale of Russian subsidiary With the completion of the sale, Jungheinrich is ending its activities in Russia.
