TORONTO, Nov. 13 /CNW/ - Jambo Mobile Solutions Inc., a fully integrated mobile media company and a member of the SilverBirch Inc. (TSX-V: SVB) group of companies, announced today the launch of Canada's first national Bluetooth technology marketing campaign for the launch of SYNC - the latest voice activated in-car communication system available exclusively on new Ford vehicles. The Ford SYNC Bluetooth campaign is scheduled for launch on November 12, 2007 and will be live in eight markets across Canada in both official languages.
Jambo worked closely with Zoom Media to integrate Bluetooth technology into physical media advertisement frames for this program. When consumers are within range of the Bluetooth transmitters they will receive a message on their cell phone stating that they are receiving a message from Ford SYNC. If the consumer chooses to accept the message, he or she will receive a 20 second Ford SYNC video or a Ford SYNC branded mobile wall-paper, with no cost to the consumer.
"This national Bluetooth campaign is the first of its kind in Canada and we are very excited about the overall potential. It is an innovative way to reach consumers and we're happy to be working with Ford and Zoom Media who are keen to be leaders in this space", said Derek Colfer, VP Strategy, Jambo Mobile.
"SYNC is one demonstration of our commitment to innovation and forward thinking, and we wanted a communication strategy that fit this thinking. Implementing Bluetooth enabled posters delivered on that strategy," said Terry Spyropolous, Marketing Communications Manager, Ford of Canada.
