Ivory Coast cocoa grind up 2.2% y/y in June, exporters association says

Ivory Coast's cocoa grind rose 2.2% year-on-year in June to 46,180 metric tons, data from exporters' association GEPEX showed on Friday.The total grind from the start of the 2024/25 season in October until the end of June stood at 475,764 tons of beans, down 0.8% from the same period last season.The GEPEX data covers six of the largest grinding companies, including Barry Callebaut SIX:BARN, Olam SGX:VC2 and Cargill Inc (CARG.UL).Ivory Coast has a total grinding capacity of around 750,000 tons. It is the world's top cocoa producer and vies alongside the Netherlands for the leading grinder spot.
