CALGARY, March 2 /CNW/ - Petrolifera Petroleum Limited ("Petrolifera" or the "Company") (TSX: PDP) announced today that ISS Proxy Advisory Services (formerly Riskmetrics) and Glass Lewis & Co., leading independent providers of proxy research who provide advice and voting recommendations to many large financial institutions, have each published a report recommending that their subscribers vote "FOR" the special resolution approving the plan of arrangement involving Petrolifera Petroleum and Gran Tierra Energy.
A special meeting of the shareholders of Petrolifera will be held in the Bow Valley Room at The Westin Calgary, 320 - 4th Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta, T2P 2S6, on March 17, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. (Mountain Time).
