Intesa Sanpaolo S p A : IMI CIB joins €1.35bn senior loan for Amplifon’s acquisition of GN Hearing

24 June 2026 Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division participated, together with a pool of banks, in a €1.35 billion senior loan granted to Amplifon to support the acquisition of GN Hearing . The financing, together with the proceeds from the equity raise completed on 22 May, is aimed at funding the cash component of the acquisition, including transaction costs. As part of the transaction, the IMI CIB Division acted as Mandated Lead Arranger and Bookrunner. Amplifon is a leading company in hearing solutions and services. Through this transaction, Intesa Sanpaolo reaffirms its commitment to supporting companies in their growth and consolidation processes, partnering with them in strategic transactions aimed at strengthening their competitive positioning in the market.
