From a limited system to a more flexible and secure model Prior to the transformation, EPICOM operated with a more rigid technological infrastructure, based on an SAP R/3 enterprise management system whose ability to adapt had reached its limit. The lack of flexibility was hindering process integration, reducing visibility of the activity, and complicating the response to new needs in an increasingly dynamic environment. Faced with this situation, Indra Group drove a modernization process that had a clear focus: to streamline operations, integrate processes and reduce technological complexity, all while maintaining control and security as the priorities. To achieve this, it designed and implemented SAP Cloud ERP in a standard model, which accelerated deployment and ensured the long-term sustainability of the solution. The upshot has been the creation of a unique platform that connects all of EPICOM's activities, allowing the business to be managed end-to-end and providing real-time information.
