Indonesia's GoTo says no agreement with on any merger

The chief of Indonesia's GoTo Gojek Tokopedia IDX:GOTO said on Tuesday there was no agreement between the company and any party towards entering into any merger.Patrick Walujo was responding to a question during a call with investors on whether the company would merge with with Grab NASDAQ:GRAB and reiterated a statement made in February.The merger talks between GoTo and Grab, which is backed by Uber NYSE:UBER, have been on-and-off, with no deal yet, due mainly to competition concerns over the two major Southeast Asian players merging. GoTo operates the ride-hailing and food delivery platform Gojek.
