PRESS RELEASE Paris, December 16, 2025, 7:30 a.m. Icade hands over the now fully leased Edenn building to Schneider Electric to house its new headquarters On Monday, December 15, Icade handed over new headquarters to Schneider Electric in Nanterre, right next to the new Nanterre La Folie RER E train station. Schneider Electric will occupy all of the office space, totalling over 2G,000 sq.m, following the letting of the remaining 3,400 sq.m in December 2025. The lease is for a G.5-year term with no break option, at a rent consistent with prime rents in the Péri-Défense area. Iconic and ambitious, this project fully demonstrates Icade's expertise in developing next-generation, low-carbon office buildings, with high quality services and amenities. Photo credits: Franck Badaire A building that meets today's office needs Edenn stands out for the quality of its bright and flexible workspaces, as well as for its wide range of services and amenities. Designed by Brenac C Gonzalez C Associés, the building features an atypical and recognisable architectural style due to its white columns. Its façade hides 4,100 sq.m of shaded terraces, both on the floors and in the centre of the building, with 1,700 sq.m of green space. Services and amenities for future users include an around 300-sq.m fitness area, a staff restaurant with seating for up to 1,300 people and four other eating areas. The building's lobby was designed to include a large assembly area and an amphitheatre, meeting the Company's need to gather all its employees in one place. Particular attention was paid to the choice of materials , including through a hybrid structure of wood (50% of the structure), low-carbon concrete, and metal (25% XCarb). The building's orientation, terraces, and façade allow natural light to fill the offices, as well as ensuring optimal thermal comfort. A special effort was also made to preserve resources through (i) a low-carbon energy mix combining photovoltaic and geothermal energy and (ii) water conservation through low-flow fixtures and rainwater collection for plant watering needs. In addition, many materials were reused on site, including raised floors, gabion walls, cobblestones, carpets, restroom doors, and kitchen tiles. Edenn aims to obtain the following certifications and labels: HQE for sustainable buildings with an Excellent rating, BREEAM Excellent, LEED Platinum, R2S with a 3-star rating, E3C2 (associated with the BBCA label), BiodiverCity ABBB level and OsmoZ. Edenn's appeal driven by its location and surrounding areas Just steps from La Défense Arena, Edenn is part of a dynamic and mixed-use area that includes offices, shops, restaurants, housing, and a greenway . It is easily accessible by public transport, including via the RER E line at the Nanterre La Folie station, with its entrance right next to the building. Well connected to bike paths, Edenn also features 169 secure bicycle parking spaces with electric charging, as well as a dedicated area for bike repairs.
