Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we wish to inform investors and the public at large about the following development: The Board was informed that the Company had earlier issued a Notice of Dispute to Simplot for non-return of critical machinery, as mandated under the SIAC Final Award dated 23 March 2020, which required return within 21 days (i.e., by 14 April 2020). In view of continued non-compliance, the Company is now proceeding to file a Notice of Arbitration (NOA) before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), seeking damages amounting to ?72 Crore on account of non-return of machinery and the resulting loss of production and profits for the financial years 2020-21 and 2021-22. The Company also reserves its right to claim further compensation until final resolution of the matter.
