HOUSTON - Oct. 2, 2026 - Halliburton (NYSE: HAL) provides this update on its Argentina operations. Halliburton has been in contact with the Argentine Federal Authority regarding any Halliburton involvement on the Malvinas Islands' Sea Lion project. The Argentine Federal Authority raised questions about criminal and civil enforcement of existing legislation, pending new criminal and civil legislation, and existing right-to-contract certification regulations.
Halliburton Company confirms it and its subsidiaries will not conduct any work on the Sea Lion project and otherwise do not participate in hydrocarbon exploration or production activities in or around the Malvinas Islands.
