HAL has signed an agreement to sell its stake in Atlas Professionals B.V. ('Atlas NextWave') to GCF IV Bidco 19 B.V. ('Avedon Capital Partners'). The transaction will result in proceeds for HAL at closing of € 89 million in cash and a book profit of approximately € 60 million. Atlas NextWave is active in staffing and recruitment of technical personnel for the international offshore wind, maritime and oil and gas sectors. HAL became a shareholder of Atlas NextWave in 2011. Avedon Capital Partners is an independent private equity investor based in the Netherlands and Germany. Completion of the transaction is subject to the customary approvals from the relevant authorities and is expected in the coming months.
