FTSE Russell has announced changes to the FTSE UK Index Series effective January 12, 2026, following the court sanctioning of the Scheme of Arrangement for Greencore Group's acquisition of Bakkavor Group. Bakkavor Group will be deleted from the FTSE 250 index, while Saga will be added to the FTSE 250 and deleted from the FTSE SmallCap index. Greencore Group will remain in the FTSE 250 index.
