Goodman NZ Can Beat FY27 Earnings View If Occupancy Improves — Market Talk
Goodman NZ Can Beat FY27 Earnings View If Occupancy Improves — Market Talk

About this update from Goodman New Zealand Limited & Goodman Property Services Limited Units
Property owner Goodman NZ expects FY27 cash earnings to rise by around 5%, just a touch below the 5.7% growth achieved in the past 12 months. Macquarie thinks that would be a good outcome in the current market. To beat initial guidance, Goodman NZ needs occupancy to improve. Occupancy fell to 96.9% at the end of March, from 97.7% six months earlier. Goodman NZ noted enquiry levels were solid at the start of the calendar year, but decision times have extended. That means it is taking longer to replace departing tenants with new ones. Macquarie retains an outperform call on Goodman NZ, which is up 1.3% at 1.975 New Zealand dollars.
