MONTREAL, Nov. 6 /CNW Telbec/ - Golden Goose Resources Inc. (TSX-V: GGR) (the "Company") is pleased to report its results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2008.
For the third quarter ended September 30, 2008, the Company reported a net loss of $191,030 ($0.00 per share) compared with a net loss of $288,582 ($0.00 per share) for the same quarter of 2007. The reduction in the net loss is mainly attributable to a reduction in stock-based compensation from $92,348 in 2007 to $11,069 this year and results from the fair value of options granted in the second quarter of 2007. General and administrative expenses amounted to $174,095, a cost reduction of $42,156 (19%) compared with the amount of $216,251 reported last year.
For the nine-month period ended September 30, 2008, the Company reported a net income of $345,477 compared with a net loss of $975,769 for the same period in 2007.
