Global Profit Technologies, Inc. Has Named Chief Financial Officer and Member to Board of Directors

The shareholders of Global Profit Technologies, Inc., a Florida corporation (PINK SHEETS: GLPT), trading on the Pink Sheets ("GLPT"), appointed the following persons to the company's Board of Directors:

At a board meeting following the appointment, the Board of Directors voted to fill certain officer positions as follows.

Mr. Duling has over 20 years experience as a CFO and controller for both private and publicly held companies, and has worked in the wireless telephony, IT consulting, internet services, GPS vehicle tracking, software development, and semiconductor manufacturing industries. He was the VP-Finance and CFO for then SBC Communications' Cellular One-Chicago business (NYSE: T), has been CFO in two start-up software companies, where he helped lead both organizations to rapid, profitable growth and successful acquisitions by publicly-held firms. Mr. Duling has additional publicly-held experience as CFO for Trimble Mobile Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Trimble Navigation (Nasdaq: TRMB), and most recently served as CFO and vice chairman of the board of directors for a privately held software firm specializing in loan origination software.

Additionally, Mr. Duling has played the lead role in numerous mergers and acquisitions, has sat on the advisory board of seven firms, has a Bachelor of Business degree from Western Illinois University and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago, IL.
