VANCOUVER, Feb. 22 /CNW/ - Global Minerals Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has contracted AMC Consultants Pty. Ltd. ("AMC") of Melbourne, Australia, to proceed with the preparation of a National Instrument 43 101 compliant current resource estimate for its Strieborna Vein Silver Project in Slovakia.
The Company also wishes to announce that, further to its news release dated January 31, 2008, by mutual agreement, D&D Securities Company and Global Minerals have agreed to cancel the letter of engagement between the companies. Instead, in cooperation with D&D Securities, the Company will pursue interim financing alternatives and revisit a brokered financing upon completion and filing of the Strieborna Report.
