UPDATE ON RESUMPTION OF BUSINESS ACTIVITIES
The board of directors (the "Board") of Astaka Holdings Limited (the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") refers to the Company's announcement dated 28 September 2021 in relation to the four-phase National Recovery Plan ("NRP") imposed by the Malaysian government.
The Board wishes to update that the Malaysian government had on 6 October 2021 announced that the Johor state will transition from Phase Two to Phase Three of the NRP, effective 8 October 2021. Following the Johor state's transition to Phase Three of the NRP, the Group will resume its operation in full, starting 10 October 2021, with 86% of employees within the Group being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and close to 100% of the employees having received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
As part of the workplace safe management measures, the Group will ensure that no more than 50% of employees are at the workplace at any point in time with strict adherence to the Covid-19 prevention standard operating procedures drawn up by the Malaysian government.
The Board will continue to monitor the evolving situation and make further announcement(s) via SGXNET as and when there are material developments on the aforesaid matter.
