NISKU, AB, April 20 /CNW/ - Garneau Inc. (TSX:GAR) announced today that Mr. Richard Hughes, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is no longer employed by the Corporation, effective April 17, 2009.
Megan Picard, previously the Corporation's Controller, has been appointed Acting CFO. Mrs. Picard is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) as well as holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta. She is also a CA-Designated Specialist in Information Technology (CA-IT) and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CA-CISA).
Prior to joining Garneau Inc., Mrs. Picard worked as Lead, Internal Controls & Governance at Enbridge Pipelines Inc., Manager, Information Risk Management at KPMG and as an Audit Professional at the Office of the Auditor General of Canada (OAG) in Edmonton, Alberta.
