“I want to bring joy to the fans, who are incredible”

After providing two assists - one of which caused doubts as to whether it was his goal, but "what matters is that it was a goal for the team" - in the 4-0 win over Casa Pia, Alberto Costa showed he is focused on "bringing joy to the fans, who are incredible". Aware that "all players are important" and that, in the absence of some, "the teammate next to you will respond well", the fullback thanked "the enormous strength" that comes from "having a full house" and looked ahead to the classic in the next round: "We want to go into it with the same ambition and determination with which we go into every game".

The goal
"What matters is that it was a team goal. At the time, I didn't realise that it had deflected off Néhuen, but it was our goal and that's what matters."

Everyone counts
"I don't call it pressure that we lost those players because if one is missing, the teammate next to him will respond well. All players are important. I want to dedicate the victory to all the injured players, those who didn't play and those who were on the pitch. That's how you form a group."

Delighted with the stands
"Last year I seized the opportunity, took a big leap, now I've taken another one and came here. I want to do my job and bring joy to the fans, who are incredible. Another full house, I can only be immensely grateful because it gives me enormous strength."

High pressure
"We are a team that likes to have possession, so when we lose the ball, we immediately think about having lots of players close by and winning it back to keep it."

The classic
"We are going to have a difficult game like this one, so for now we are going to face a week of work and we want to go into it with the same ambition and determination with which we go into every game."
