Today (9 September), Frontier Developments plc has published its full-year results for FY26.
Jo Cooke, Chief Executive Officer, said:

With a strong balance sheet, a talented team, and an exciting roadmap ahead, we are well positioned to deliver sustainable growth, enduring player value, and long-term returns for our stakeholders."
FY26 Financial Highlights
- Revenue increased 16% to £104.8m.
- Record Adjusted Operating Profit of £21.4m, up 62% year-on-year.
- Cash grew to £51.4m at 31 August 2026 and the Board has announced a £5.0m special dividend.
Strong Roadmap for Continued Growth
The financial results announcement also highlighted the strength of Frontier development roadmap which is based on an average release cadence of one CMS game per year:
- FY27: Planet Zoo 2 is scheduled for release on 13 October 2026. Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Deathwatch is also scheduled to release in FY27.
- FY28: A new own-IP CMS game establishing a further Planet franchise is in full development and remains on track.
- Disney agreement: As announced on 3 September 2026, Frontier further strengthened its long-term development roadmap through an agreement with Disney to develop and publish a new game based on Disney's iconic portfolio of IP.
Confident Outlook
Having delivered record financial performance in FY26, the Board is confident in delivering FY27 in line with expectations through nurturing and expanding Frontier's genre-leading CMS franchises.
Board Update
In the announcement this morning, we shared that David Braben, Frontier's President and Founder, will transition from his role as an Executive Director to a Non-Executive Director. We're delighted that Frontier will continue to benefit from his experience and knowledge on the Board of Directors.
