Fisher & Paykel Healthcare : provides first half guidance for the 2027 financial year and updates full year

About this update from Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited today provided guidance for the first half of the 2027 financial year, which ends 30 September 2026, and updated its guidance for the full 2027 financial year. "We have had a strong start to our first half, particularly in our Hospital product group, as a result of continued strong demand for our latest range of hardware devices and ongoing change in clinical practice driving consumable sales," said Managing Director and CEO Lewis Gradon. "It is also pleasing to see the progress we are making with our continuous improvement activities and the impact on our gross margin and other operating efficiencies," he said. At 31 July exchange rates*, guidance assumptions for the first half of the 2027 financial year include a continuation of the current trading environment and result in revenue of approximately $1.24 billion and net profit after tax of approximately $280 million. This would equate to approximately 14% growth in reported operating revenue and approximately 24% growth in net profit after tax (excluding the impact of US tariff refunds), compared to the first half of the 2026 financial year. Outlook for the 2027 financial year The full year guidance previously provided in May was for operating revenue to be in the range of approximately $2.45 billion to $2.57 billion, and net profit after tax to be in the range of approximately $500 million to $550 million. At 31 July exchange rates*, the company now expects full year operating revenue to be in the range of approximately $2.47 billion to $2.57 billion and full year net profit after tax to be in the range of approximately $525 million to $565 million. The first half and full year net profit after tax guidance incorporates $23 million in US IEEPA tariff refunds. The full year outlook continues to anticipate an overall improvement in gross margin and also assumes current global tariff rates, policies and applications for the duration of this financial year. "Our progress reflects the momentum we are building across the business. We are continuing to innovate, supporting clinicians to adopt new ways of delivering care, and advancing projects needed to maintain that momentum into the future," concluded Mr. Gradon.
