to contribute the achieving decarbonization

Financial Products Group Co., Ltd. (FPG) announces that FPG Amentum Limited (FPG Amentum, Headquarters: Dublin, Ireland), a consolidated subsidiary of FPG, as a member of the local aircraft leasing industry group, is supporting the aviation industry to contribute to the realization of decarbonization in the airline industry, based on the action plan for companies engaged in the aircraft leasing business, released by Aircraft Leasing Ireland (ALI).

At the 77th IATA Annual General Meeting in October 2021, the International Air Transport Association, an industry organization comprising the world's airlines, adopted the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050. As a result, the aviation industry is also making progress in its efforts to move toward a decarbonized society.

Ireland, where FPG Amentum is headquartered, is said to be the birthplace of aircraft leasing and is the center of the aircraft leasing business. Aircraft Leasing Ireland (ALI), an industry association of 31 companies in the aircraft leasing business in Ireland, including FPG Amentum, based on its influence and responsibility, is providing concrete support for the aviation industry to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. ALI has released "Aviation Sustainability," a narrative setting out aviation's pathway to net zero and a set of action guidelines for ALI member companies to follow.

FPG and group companies will continue to support the airline and shipping industries in their efforts to transition to decarbonization by utilizing the group's knowledge and network.
