VANCOUVER, June 19 /CNW/ - Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd. ("Falcon") announced
today that Stephen Schultz and Carl Stadelhofer have joined Falcon's board of
directors following their election at Falcon's annual and special meeting of
shareholders held today.
"We are pleased to welcome Stephen and Carl as members of Falcon's
board," stated Marc A. Bruner, Falcon's President, Chief Executive Officer and
Chairman of the board. "Their respective experience and expertise will make
them valuable contributors to the continued growth of Falcon. Paul Moase did
not stand for re-election as a director, and I would like to acknowledge and
thank Paul for his time and commitment to the board of Falcon."
Stephen Schultz is currently a director of Acusphere, Inc., a NASDAQ
listed company, where he has an executive role dealing with Acusphere, Inc.'s
communications and investor relations. Mr. Schultz has extensive experience in
corporate governance, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission disclosure, and
investor communications.
Carl Stadelhofer is a director and a member of the audit committee and
compensation committee of Gasco Energy, Inc., an AMEX listed oil & gas
exploration company. He is an experienced corporate lawyer in Switzerland,
specializing in banking and financing, mergers and acquisitions, investment
funds and international securities transactions.
In addition, at Falcon's annual and special meeting of shareholders held
today, Falcon's shareholders passed, without variation, the resolution
approving Falcon's stock option plan thereby authorizing Falcon to adopt the
stock option plan in substantially the form as provided in Appendix "D" to
Falcon's management information circular.
