Anglo Pacific Group PLC Announces Exposure to Uranium
Anglo Pacific Group PLC, (Anglo Pacific), is pleased to announce that it holds
an 8.91% stake in Laramide Resources Ltd (Laramide) (symbol LAM on the TSX
Venture Exchange).
Laramide recently exercised its option to acquire a 100% interest in the
Westmoreland -Lagoon Creek uranium project in North West Queensland, Australia.
This has a resource of 17 million tons of 1.2kg/U308 uranium to the ton as well
as copper and gold possibilities. Westmoreland - Lagoon Creek is one of the
largest uranium deposits in Australia. Of the world's known recoverable
resources of uranium, 28% of the total are in Australia. Uranium prices have
improved substantially in the past 18 months, with spot prices rising from below
US $10/lb to current levels of around US $20/lb.
