Expiration date extension of purchase warrant

LAVAL, QC, Feb. 24 /CNW Telbec/ - Stellar Pacific Ventures (SPX)
announces that it has made application to the TSX Venture Exchange and the
AutoritDe des marchDes financiers (QuDebec), seeking to amend terms of
1,089,000 warrants issued on August 26, 2004, to extend their expiry date from
February 26, 2006 to August 28, 2006.
The warrants were issued in connection with a private placement financing
of units announced on August 27, 2004, each warrant entitling its holder to
purchase one additional common share of Stellar at a price of $0.25 per share
for a period of up to 18 months from closing.

Stellar Pacific Venture Inc. is a junior mining exploration company
listed on the TSX-V whose primary objective is to develop and bring into
production viable gold deposits.
