EUROGROUP LAMINATIONS ANNOUNCES THE CLOSING OF THE ACQUISITION OF DS4 S.p.A.
Baranzate (MI), 9 October 2023 - EuroGroup Laminations (the "Group" or the "Company"), a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of stators and rotors for electric motors and generators, announces that it has today completed the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of DS4 S.p.A.
The acquisition of DS4, active in the design and construction of custom-made software and hardware with applications in the field of industrial automation, had been announced in the press release distributed on August 2, 2023, to which reference is made.
The finalization of the acquisition took place following the granting of all legal approvals, including the clearance from the Italian Government pursuant the Golden Power regulations.
The value of the transaction corresponds to an enterprise value of approximately € 16.5 million. The payment of the consideration was made entirely in cash, through the buyer's own resources.
In 2022 DS4 recorded € 7.9 million revenues and a € 2.5 million EBITDA, with a € 18.4 million order book as of July 2023.
The current management of DS4 will remain at the helm to continue the important growth path it has embarked on, and which will be accelerated through the strategic coordination role of and the operational synergies with EuroGroup.
