DualEx Files 2009 First Quarter Results

CALGARY, May 29 /CNW/ - DualEx Energy International Inc. (the "Company") (DXE, TSX-V) today filed with Canadian securities authorities its First Quarter Financial Statements and Management's Discussion and Analysis for the period ending March 31, 2009. Also, the Company is pleased to announce that it has now received formal approval from the Syrian authorities for a four month extension (until October 7, 2009) to commence drilling the Al-Tayr 101 well on Block XVII in Syria. Tenders for the drilling rig have been evaluated and contract negotiations have commenced. The well is expected to spud in the third quarter of 2009.
