Notice Concerning Establishment of "Sustainability Committee"
DTS CORPORATION (the "Company") hereby announces that it has established a "Sustainability Committee" with the aim to promote initiatives for sustainability and further enhance corporate value over the medium to long term. The details are described below.
1. Purpose of establishing the committee
Recognizing that it was an important management challenge for the DTS Group (the "Group") to aim for both the realization of a sustainable society and the Group's sustainable growth, amid the significantly changing environment in which it operates, the Company decided to newly establish the "Sustainability Committee" to further strengthen the Group's environmental and social efforts.
2. Role of the committee
It will be the committee's role to formulate basic policy, goals, and action plans relating to sustainability, to promote, manage and evaluate those goals, and to discuss individual measures. It will also provide reports and suggestions to the Board of Directors on a regular basis.
3. Composition of the committee
The Sustainability Committee, which is overseen by the Board of Directors, is chaired by the Company's Representative Director and President. Its other members are mainly made up of Directors and Executive Officers.
