SPECIAL DIVIDEND
Following the disposal of the majority of Creston plc's portfolio to the
Ashtenne Holdings PLC group, as detailed in the circular to shareholders dated
16 February 2000, the directors of Creston plc have declared a special
dividend of 36 pence per ordinary share of 10p in the capital of the company.
The total distribution amounts to £3,455,710. The interim dividend will be
paid on 5 May 2000 to shareholders registered on 25 April 2000. The shares are
expected to be quoted ex-dividend on 17 April 2000.
