    Results

  • Driven by Manufacturing Solutions, net sales increased by 7.0% YoY.

  • Despite a significant increase in personnel expenses due to aggressive hiring and compensation revisions, operating profit secured an increase due to the effects of increase in sales and improved gross profit margin.

Regarding Changes in the Businesses Managed by Each Reportable Segment

  • To implement the growth strategy of the new Medium-term Management Plan, we make the following changes to the businesses managed by each reportable segment:

    1. Transfer the ERP business from Communication IT to Manufacturing Solutions.

      (We will work on further distinguishing our ability to provide solutions for the manufacturing industry's value chain through collaboration with PLM business.)

    2. Consolidate the business for some major customers, which was spread across multiple segments, into the primary managing segment.

      (We aim to have a single point of contact for sales and focus on deepening customer relationships and expanding business areas.)

    3. Integrate the smart society business and some solution businesses such as security into Communication IT. (Leveraging collaboration with the Dentsu Group, we aim to expand social and corporate transformation businesses.)
