This announcement is made pursuant to Rule 13.10B of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. (the " Company ") announces that, according to the Company's preliminary statistics, as of 31 March 2021, the total power generation of the Company and its subsidiaries amounted to approximately 62.8699 billion kWh, representing an increase of approximately 10.61% on a year-on-year basis, and total on-grid power generation amounted to approximately 59.1155 billion kWh, representing an increase of approximately 10.93% on a year-on- year basis. The major reasons for the increase in power generation of the Company are as follows: The year-on-year increase of the national overall power consumption in the first quarter of 2021; and The year-on-year increase in the number of new power generating units in parts of the areas where the Company is located.
