PRESS RELEASE ON THE FILING OF THE AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS OF CORONATION INSURANCE PLC FOR THE YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2025 AND THE UNAUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE PERIOD ENDING MARCH 31, 2026
This is to inform our valued Shareholders and the general public that Coronation Insurance Plc ("the Company") will regrettably be unable to file its Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2025 (2025 AFS) and the Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ending 31 March 2026 (2026 Q1 UFS), within the stipulated time of March 31, 2026 and April 30, 2026 respectively, as required under the Rules of Nigerian Exchange Limited ("The Exchange"or "NGX").
This is as a result of unforeseen delays in the completion of the Company's audit process by its external auditors. While the audit is ongoing, the Company is working closely with its auditors to ensure that the financial statements are completed in line with applicable regulatory standards and best practices. The 2025 AFS and 2026 Q1 UFS will be filed no later than June 30, 2026 and July 30, 2026, respectively.
The Board of Directors and Management of Coronation Insurance Plc sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this delay may cause to our Shareholders and various Stakeholders.
