RNS Number : 5510H WANdisco Plc 07 April 2022 7 April 2022 WANdisco plc ("WANdisco" or the "Company") Contract win with world leading computer vendor Continued momentum in cloud migration opportunities for WANdisco's LiveData Migrator WANdisco (LSE: WAND), the LiveData company , is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract worth $213k with a world leading personal computer vendor (the "Customer"). Using its LiveData Migrator ("LDM") solution, WANdisco will help the Customer to migrate a subset of data from its existing Hadoop environment to cloud-native systems that can be run in the public cloud. The current opportunity is to migrate 1.35 petabytes of data and this figure will grow over time through normal production usage, meaning there is potential for revenues to scale further as time progresses and more data is migrated. WANdisco's LDM solution was chosen as it ensures the data is kept up to date during migration, meaning the Customer is not required to manually refresh the new environment. This guarantees minimal business disruption, data consistency and security during the process. WANdisco was the recommended provider of choice for the Customer's IT partner who had previous experience working with WANdisco's solutions.
