CONOIL PLC - EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2025 AND THE UNAUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR QUARTER 1 ENDING MARCH 31, 2026
CONOIL Plc (the Company) hereby notifies Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), its shareholders and the investing public of the following:Conoil Plc will not be able to file its Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2025 (2025 AFS) and the Unaudited Financial Statements for Quarter 1 ending 31 March
2026 (2026 Q1 UFS) by the due dates of 31 March 2026 and 30 April 2026 respectively.
The reason for the delay in the filing of the 2025 AFS and 2026 Q1 UFS is primarily due to the ongoing migration from our legacy enterprise system to a new, fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. The ERP initiative was undertaken to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, improve financial reporting processes, and position the Company for sustainable long-term growth. While the implementation has substantially progressed and core modules are operational, the transition has necessitated extensive data validation, reconciliation, and post-migration adjustments to ensure the integrity, completeness, and consistency of historical and current financial data. Management considers it imperative that these processes are thoroughly concluded and validated.
Conoil Plc shall file the 2025 AFS and the 2026 Q1 UFS on or before 30 June 2026.
