More than 90% of materials and equipment for the redevelopment have been sourced from Europe, with the majority supplied by UK businesses, supporting SMEs and specialist manufacturers throughout the project and underscoring Citi's commitment to the local economy. By completion, over 10,000 skilled construction professionals will have worked on the project, most of whom live within 25 miles of the building, demonstrating its contribution to local employment and skills.
The opening of the tower marks the beginning of a new chapter for Citi in the UK. Colleagues will continue moving into the building throughout the remainder of 2026 as teams transition to their reimagined workspace in Canary Wharf.
