ANNOUNCEMENT ON PAYMENT FOR THE FIRST TRANCHE OF

2014 MID-TERM NOTES

The announcement is made by China Datang Corporation Renewable Power Co., Limited* (the "Company") pursuant to Rules 13.09 and 13.10B of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Listing Rules") and the Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

Reference is made to the announcement (the "Issuance Announcement") of the Company dated 12 December 2014 in relation to the issuance of mid-term notes (the "Bonds"). Unless the context requires otherwise, capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings ascribed thereto in the Issuance Announcement.

1. BASIC INFORMATION OF THE BONDS

1. PAYMENT METHOD
   The payment of the Bonds held in escrow by Interbank Market Settlement Co., Limited* will be transferred to the designated bank accounts of Interbank Market Settlement Co., Limited* by the Issuer within the prescribed period first and then transferred by Interbank Market Settlement Co., Limited* to the designated bank accounts of the holders of the Bonds on the payment due date. Should the payment due date of the Bonds fall on a statutory holiday in Mainland China, the transfer of capital will be postponed accordingly. Should there be any alteration to the remittance and transfer path, the holders of the Bonds should timely notify Interbank Market Settlement Co., Limited* of the new remittance and transfer path before the payment is made. The Issuer and Interbank Market Settlement Co., Limited* take no responsibility for any loss arising from the delay in receiving the payment due to the holders of the Bonds failing to timely notify the Interbank Market Settlement Co., Limited* for the alteration of remittance and transfer path.
