TORONTO, July 12 /CNW/ - Cencotech Inc. (CTZ - TSX-V) today reports progress in its alliance with the CompuSafe(R) division of Brink's, Incorporated of Coppell, Texas. While Cencotech's subsidiary, NamSys Inc. has sold a small number of "CashNet" units to the CompuSafe(R) division of Brink's over the past year, these units have been used by Brink's for demonstration purposes with their clients. Under the alliance arrangement with Brink's, the CashNet System is labeled as the CompuSafe(R) 4000 Series System. Brink's has started to roll out these systems into large retailers to automate their clients' moneyrooms, greatly improving the cost characteristics and efficiency of the clients currency operations. In support of this initiative, the CompuSafe(R) division of Brink's has placed a firm order for 50 units of CashNet to be delivered over the next 60 days. K. Barry Sparks, Cencotech's President stated: "Over the past year we have reported on our developing sales alliance strategy to penetrate the large volume currency handling marketplace. To this end, our subsidiary Namsys has developed an excellent relationship with the CompuSafe(R), a division of Brink's, Incorporated. We are delighted to see the start of the deployment of our systems by Brink's into large retailers in the United States. This initial order should only be the beginning of what we believe will be wide adoption of the CompuSafe(R) 4000 System by large retailers all across North America. While it is too early to try to quantify how many CompuSafe(R) 4000 units might be installed, each large retailer location maintains a moneyroom and the economic case that Brink's service offering makes to the retailer is compelling." Cencotech Inc. was created to acquire and manage emerging high technology enterprises with sound business solutions for their customers. The Corporation's present products are designed to bring efficiency to the processing of currency and other value instruments in financial institutions, large retailers, public transportation operations and the gaming industry.
