MONTREAL, July 29 /CNW Telbec/ - Buzz Telecommunications Services Inc. (BZZ-V) announced today that Mr. Pierre Myrand's resignation as Director and Chairman of the board was accepted by the Board and that Mr. Joel Cohen resigned as CFO of the company. Mr. Joel Cohen will remain director on the board. A search has been initiated for a new CFO to contribute to Buzz's continued growth.
Rafi Hazan, President and CEO stated, "Mr. Myrand indicated that the time commitment required over the next year would be more than he is prepared to commit to. We thank him for his efforts and contributions over the past years to the growth of Buzz, and wish him all the best in his future endeavors."
Mr. Rafi Hazan will act as the chairman of the board in the interim.
