In the first month following Bulgaria's accession to the Eurozone, the turnover of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) increased by more than 2.5 times, reaching €45 million. A significant rise was also recorded in the number of trades in January 2026 compared to the same period of the previous year, with an increase of 182.95%.
During the first month of 2026, the blue-chip benchmark SOFIX posted a gain of 18.89%, reaching 1,374.91 points.
