EDMONTON, July 3 /CNW/ - Bri-Chem Corp. (the "Bri-Chem") (TSX Venture Exchange: BRY) a leading Canadian wholesale distributor of drilling fluids, products and related services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jason Theiss as Chief Financial Officer of Bri-Chem. Mr. Theiss is a Chartered Accountant and has gained valuable experience in the areas of accounting, corporate restructuring, project management and acquisitions while working with a private oil and gas income trust. Mr. Theiss also brings a wealth of financial background knowledge gained while working in public practice. Bri-Chem is delighted to have him as part of the corporate team.
As part of Mr. Theiss's compensation, Bri-Chem has granted to him an option to purchase 75,000 common shares exercisable at a price of $2.00 per share for five years. The stock options are granted in accordance with Bri-Chem's Stock Option Plan, and will have vesting provisions attached.
