Brazil's Hapvida names CFO Adib as next CEO

Brazilian healthcare firm Hapvida BMFBOVESPA:HAPV3 on Monday announced a succession plan which will see current Chief Financial Officer Luccas Adib taking the role of chief executive officer.Current CEO Jorge Pinheiro will become Hapvida's executive chairman, replacing Candido Pinheiro, who will keep a seat on the board or directors, Hapvida said in a securities filing.The changes will be implemented throughout 2026, Hapvida said.Adib will accelerate the transformations that Hapvida has been conducting in recent years, the firm said.Hapvida also announced its Chief Operations Officer Alain Benvenuti is leaving the company.Benvenuti will be replaced by Cideria Costa, current director of diagnosis medicine, according to the filing.
