Boxxer Intersects 15.3 Metres Of 0.61% Copper Equivalent at Boss Porphyry Copper-Gold Project

· Issued by Exgen Resources Inc.

Jul. 26, 2011 (Filing Services Canada) -- Boxxer Gold Corp. (BXX - TSX Venture, BXXRF - OTC Pink),is very pleased to announce the results of diamond drill hole ("DDH") DDH07-2011 on its Boss porphyry copper-gold project located in the Goodsprings District of Nevada and an update on the high resolution  airborne magnetic survey on the DOK copper-gold project located in northwest British Columbia. A plan map showing the location of DDH07-2011 can be viewed on the Company's website at www.boxxergold.com.

Highlights:

a) DDH07-2011 intersected 0.53% copper, 0.03 g/t gold and 5.81g/t silver (copper equivalent 0.61%) over an interval of 15.3m over a core length from 20.3m to 35.6m.  The mineralization is hosted in marble and open along strike, to the north and down dip,

b) DDH07-2011 intersected 0.27% copper, 0.04 g/t gold and 3.03 g/t silver (0.31% copper equivalent) over an interval of 37.1m from surface to a depth of 37.1m, and

c) Approximately 25% of the high resolution airborne magnetic survey over the DOK copper-gold porphyry project located in northwest British Columbia has been completed.

Boxxer's President and CEO, Elmer B. Stewart, explained, "The results of DDH07-2011 clearly demonstrates that wide intervals of skarn hosted copper-gold-silver mineralization do exist on the Boss project and marks a turning point in the exploration of the Boss porphyry copper-gold project.  The mineralized zone is open along strike, to the north and at depth.  Combining these results with the results of the recent 3D chargeability model strongly support our exploration target for the Boss project of a porphyry copper-gold deposit ranging from 500 to 800 million tonnes with grades ranging from 0.70% to 1.0% copper and from 0.2 to 0.4 g/t gold*".

* The potential quantity and grades for the exploration target on the Boss project are conceptual in nature. There has been insufficient exploration to define a resource and it is uncertain if future exploration will result in the exploration target being delineated as a mineral resource. The basis for the potential quantities and grades are the 2001 to 2011 sampling results, the horizontal and vertical dimensions of the mineralized zones, the size of the skarn zone, size of the IP anomalies, the mineralized intersection in DDH07-2011 and similarities to other porphyry copper districts and that the dimensions of the mineralized zones have not been delineated.

Diamond Drilling:

The weighted average grades (at a zero cut-off) for copper-gold-silver in DDH-07-2011 are show below:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
DDHID#       Dip  Azimuth  From    To  Interval   Cu     Au    Ag    CuEq
                             (m)   (m)       (m)  (%)  (g/t) (g/t)    (%)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
DDH-07-2011  -60      190   0.0  37.1      37.1  0.27  0.04  3.03    0.33
                including  20.3  35.6      15.3  0.53  0.03  5.81    0.61
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note: core intervals shown in above table are not true thickness
The oxide copper-gold-silver mineralization intersected in DDH07-2011 is hosted in marble and exhibits a bismuth-cobalt-nickel geochemical signature along with sporadic anomalous molybdenum and arsenic values.  Three of the samples from within the interval returned copper values in excess of 1.0% copper, as follows: 4.1% over 0.37m, 1.61% over 1.07m and 1.0% over 1.31m.  The silver values range from 0.5 g/t to a maximum value of 54.3 g/t (1.75 ounces per tonne).   The recently completed 3D chargeability model shows that DDH-07-2011 was located on the southern edge of a strong chargeability anomaly.  DDH07-2011 was drilled to the south away from the chargeability anomaly and intersected the edge of a wider mineralized zone that is open along strike, to the north and down dip.  Select samples from the drill holes completed in 2011 will be assayed for platinum and palladium.

Future Boss Drilling Plans:

DDH-07-2011was collared in oxide copper mineralization which suggests that the mineralized zone is open to the north.  The mineralized zones referred to as Boss#12 and Boss#13 are located downhill and approximately 50m  to the north of DDH-07-2011.  This could extend the thickness of the mineralized zone intersected in DDH-07-2011 an additional 50m to the north.   The next round of drill holes on the Boss property will used the same set up as DDH-07-2011 before moving to the north approximately 100m to test the mineralization in the Boss#12 and Boss#13 zones.   The holes will be drilled at a steeper dip to determine the true width and strike direction of the mineralized zone.

DOK Property:

Precision GeoSurveys Inc. has completed approximately 25% of the high resolution airborne magnetic survey (1,509 line kms) planned for the DOK copper-gold-molybdenum-silver property located in northwest British Columbia.  The survey is scheduled to start mid-July 2011.

Sample Preparation and Analysis:

All drill core samples were prepared at the ALS Chemex laboratory in Reno, Nevada. Prepared sample pulps were shipped to ALS Chemex in Vancouver, British Columbia, for geochemical analysis (using ME-ICP61 package for base metals and Au-ICP21for gold).  ALS Chemex's quality system complies with the requirements for the International Standards ISO9001:2000 and ISO 17025:1999.  Analytical accuracy and precision are monitored by the use of international standards. Additional quality control measures included insertion of blanks in all drill core sample batches submitted.

Recoverable copper equivalent calculations are based on 88% of the copper content plus 81% of the gold content, and 70% of the silver content.  Metal prices are copper $US2.50/pound, gold $US1,200/ounce, and silver $US20.00/ounce.
