In addition to approving dividend payout, the AGMS approved the appointment of Emirsyah Satar as Independent Commissioner, subject to fit and proper test from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). *Subject to fit and proper test from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) The AGMS has also appointed Purwantono, Suherman, dan Surja, a member of Ernst & Young Global Limited, a Public Accountant that is registered in the Financial Services Authority (OJK), to audit the Company's financial report for the 2015 financial year, taking into account the recommendation from the Audit Committee. Furthermore, the AGMS also approved changes in a number of articles of the Company's Article of Association and the restatement of all articles in the Company's Articles of Association in compliance with OJK regulations, which are POJK No. 32/POJK.04/2014 and POJK No. 33/POJK.04/2014.
He began his career in the financial industry as an auditor at Price Waterhouse Cooper. He quickly assumed key positions in several companies, both local and abroad, including Citibank N.A, Jan Darmadi Group, Niaga Finance - Hong Kong, Bank Danamon and Garuda Indonesia. In early 2003, he was appointed as Deputy CEO of Bank Danamon. Then in 2005, he was appointed by the Indonesian government as the President & CEO of the Garuda Indonesia, making him as one of the youngest Chief Executive Officers of an airline in the Asia Pacific region. He has recently completed his tenure as the Chairman of INACA (Indonesian National Air Carrier Associations), a member of the Board of Governors of IATA (International Air Transport Association) and the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the AAPA (Association of Asia Pacific Airlines). He is currently the Senior Advisor of INACA, and the Vice General Chairman of Indonesia's Chamber of Commerce (KADIN) on Transportation. He was awarded as the Orient Aviation Person of the Year 2010 by Orient Aviation Magazine, Man of the Year 2012 by Globe Asia Magazine and recently he has been awarded as the Asia Pacific Airline Executive of the Year 2014 by Center for Asia Pacific Airlines/CAPA. On the environmental front, he is the member of the Board of Trustee of The Nature Conservancy (TNC), an organization which strives to balance the needs of a growing population with those of nature.

Danamon is also the sole license holder of Manchester United cards in Indonesia, allowing the Bank to issue Manchester United ATM/Debit cards and credit cards. PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance, Tbk.
