Desio successfully returns to capital market with issue of a new Covered Bond for 500 million euro intended for institutional investors

BANCO DESIO SUCCESSFULLY RETURNS TO CAPITAL MARKET WITH ISSUE OF A NEW COVERED BOND FOR 500 MILLION EURO INTENDED FOR INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS.

Today, Banco di Desio e della Brianza SpA successfully completed the placement of a Covered Bond issue under its Covered Bank Bonds (CB, rated AA by Fitch) programme for a total of 500 million euros with a five- year maturity intended for institutional investors.

The covered bond, priced with a 3% coupon and a yield of +62 bps over mid-swap, attracted orders exceeding €850 million during the placement.

The issue was allocated geographically as follows: Italy (53%), DACH (22%), Nordic Countries (12%), BeNeLux (8%), Spain (3%), and Others (2%). The final allocation was primarily to banks and private banks (72%), funds and asset managers (319%), insurance companies (5%), and Official Institutions (4%).

The transaction aligns with Banco Desio's 2024 Funding Plan and the new 'Beyond26' Business Plan, ensuring the Bank's continued access to the wholesale funding market across various jurisdictions.

BNP Paribas (Arranger of the Programme) managed the placement of the issue, along with Banco Santander, Intesa Sanpaolo, Natixis, Raiffeisen Bank International, and UniCredit, who acted as joint bookrunners.
