Jason Storah, CEO of Aviva UK & Ireland General Insurance and Interim CEO of Probitas Probitas 1492 (wholly-owned and capitalised by Aviva plc) has today announced the integration of the Volante Canada underwriting team into its local business based in Toronto, Canada. This strengthens the business's underwriting capability, as well as providing a Lloyd's continuity solution to Volante Canada clients, following its cessation of new underwriting in April. Effective from 25 May 2026, the integration will bring the two teams together under the Probitas Canada platform. The combined team will enable Professional Lines, Construction and Auto products, while also building on existing strengths in Casualty, Cyber and Property. The combination of Volante, Probitas and Aviva Canada will significantly enhance our market reach, operational excellence and technical underwriting capabilities, allowing for more tailored solutions and faster decisions.
