Yesterday evening, a fire broke out in the old beet pulp removal gallery at the Hlobyno Sugar Plant during scheduled maintenance by a contractor. The State Emergency Service quickly extinguished the fire and is investigating the cause. All personnel are safe. The plant remains fully operational, with production season preparations on schedule.
