COMPLETION OF THE SHARE TRANSFER OF 1.5% EQUITY INTEREST IN
THE PLACE YUNTAI INVESTMENT PTE. LTD. ("TPYI")
Capitalised terms not defined herein shall bear the same meaning ascribed to them in the Company's announcement dated 29 June 2021 ("Previous Announcement").
The board of directors (the "Board" or the "Directors") of The Place Holdings Limited (the "Company", and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") refers to the Previous Announcement in relation to the Proposed Disposal. The Board is pleased to announce that the transfer of 1.5% equity interest of TPYl was completed on 30 June 2021 ("Completion").
Upon Completion, the Company's equity interest in TPYI is reduced from 100% to 98.5%, and the Purchaser, New Lanwa International Trading Limited, holds 1.5% of the equity interest in TPYI. Following the Completion, TPYI remains as a subsidiary of the Company.
