Arrow Exploration CEO Marshall Abbott joins Proactive's Stephen Gunnion after the company spud the first well at Carrizales Norte on the Tapir block in Colombia's Llanos Basin.
Drilling will now proceed to the target depth of 9,205 feet, anticipated by mid-May, and after that it is anticipated that the well will undergo testing. Abbott noted that the success of the CN-1 well could result in additional production, additional reserves and a new core area for Arrow.
He also recapped some of the highlights of the company's 2022 year, which saw growth in production, revenue and income, leaving the company in a healthy financial position to fund the large capital program planned for 2023.
