Horsham, UK:  Ceres Power Holdings plc ("Ceres", the "Company") (AIM:CWR), a global leader in fuel cell and electrochemical technology, confirms that Professor Dame Julia King, Baroness Brown of Cambridge, will assume the position of Senior Independent Director succeeding Steve Callaghan who stepped down from the Board at the close of today's Annual General Meeting.

Julia has served on the Ceres Board since June 2021. She brings huge experience across industry, academia and government and a focus on climate change and the low carbon economy, which has been hugely valuable in the progression of the Company's sustainability strategy.

Warren Finegold, Chair of Ceres commented: "Julia has been a tremendous addition to the Board, and I look forward to working with her in her role as Senior Independent Director, and in her continuing role as the Chair of the ESG Committee."

"Our thanks go to Steve for his significant contribution over the last 10 years, in providing continuity to the Board and in supporting Ceres' growth into a global technology business with world-class partnerships."

About Ceres Power

Ceres is a world-leading developer of electrochemical technologies: fuel cells for power generation, electrolysis for the creation of green hydrogen and energy storage. Its asset-light, licensing model has seen it establish partnerships with some of the world's largest engineering and technology companies, such as Bosch, Doosan, Shell and Weichai, to develop systems and products that address climate change for power generation, transportation, industry, data centres and everyday living.  Ceres is listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange ("LSE") (AIM: CWR) and is classified by the LSE Green Economy Mark, which recognises listed companies that derive more than 50% of their activity from the green economy.
