Mar. 10, 2011 (Filing Services Canada) -- Trillium North Minerals Ltd. (TNM - TSX Venture), ("Trillium") announces the appointment of Peter Freed, to its Board of Directors.
Peter B. Freed is the President, CEO and founder of Freed Developments Ltd., a successful and rapidly growing real estate development company based in Toronto, Ontario. Peter is the ultimate entrepreneur. During a career spanning more than twenty years, his business interests have expanded from single-family housing projects in suburban Toronto to award-winning, mixed-use developments noted for their leading edge designs in Toronto's downtown King West neighbourhood.
Peter has developed and sold in excess of $1 billion of property comprising more than 2.5 million square feet of residential and commercial real estate in King West since 2004, including 2,700 residential condominium units and the 102-room Thompson Hotel. There are more than 600 employees working for companies within the Freed group.
Peter was chosen as the "CEO of the Year" at the 2010 Design Exchange Awards and Freed projects have been recognized on numerous occasions by the National Association of Home Builders and Greater Toronto Home Builders' Association. Freed Development's Muskoka Bay Project in Gravenhurst, Ontario is recognized in 2010 by Score Golf Magazine as one of the "10 Best Golf Courses in Canada."

Mr. David Gibson, who resigned yesterday from the Board of Directors, will continue to assist with the Company's development in a consulting role.
